My DOL is 16-3-2015, lodged it through an agent, haven't heard anything. Application is still received, not in progress. Next week will be the 16th month of wait. I called immigration, got connected to someone called Ruby, which is the rudest person Ive ever spoken to. Maybe because its nearly her knock off time or something.
She said "You're practically still on your 15 month mark as the process takes 12-15 months." I was gonna say "Do you even need my transaction number" But she just said, "Please just check with your agent (which I already did and he sent an email to them a week ago), and complete all of your documents".
I dont know if this response is normal, but I am on the verge of deciding to travel overseas in a month, it would be nicer to save $140 on BVB.

Is anyone on a same boat with me??

Thanks!
CC

I applied 10 days after you, online, no agent. Will be 16 months soon too. My immiaccount showed in progress for about 8-10 months. But nothing happened. Called immi too, the lady just said what showed on my immiaccount. That's it. And tell me to check immiaccount.

My hubbys DOL was Feb 6th 2015
Still waiting and says application in progress. Have given all the extra evidence needed. But every time I ring they never want to look into his file they just tell me it shouldn't be too far away.

What is their job exactly on the phone? They aren't allowed to tell you what to attach or help woth answers to trick questions on forms and they always tell me they can't see anything I can't see in immiaccount.
Coming to 17 months waiting. Its crazy

I have posted a couple of times that we have the same scenario as a few others. Even with a migration agent it, is tough to obtain an update, when they make a formal enquiry.

Apllied December 19, 2014. Taking Christmas closure into account, we are the same boat, as most January to February 2015 applicants.

Nothing on my end. DOL 15/7/15. Probably reached their quota for the financial year already or very close to.

I might be wrong so don't quote me on this/someone please correct me if I am.

I read somewhere (possibly on a forum) that the department has a quota of how many visas (820 etc) they can give out/approve each financial year. So even if they've literally processed an application and it should all be fine and approved, it might not be granted till the start of the new financial year once the numbers have been met? Something along those lines.

Lol. That's what I've been hoping! But since it's looking to be an average of 12 months minimum of a wait (not including those from PMV or 300), I'll have to settle for the new financial year quota. I've already updated all my documents from the auto generated email contact in April so it's just waiting.
