Would love to hear from others who know more maybe!
Hey guys,

Once I got my medicare card I called my private health insurance comp, and asked them to link my insurance to a medicare card, and then I was able to choose what kind of private health insurance I want. Because medicare card covers most of the costs that the visitors cover does, we don't need the visitors cover anymore.
Hope this helps

Hi all,

I just received an email from DIAC stating the following:

We refer to your application for a Temporary Partner visa (subclass 820) and Permanent Partner visa (subclass 801), lodged on 30-Sep-2015.

Your application has progressed in the queue. If you have not yet provided the following documentation or information needed to assess your application, please do so now. It is in your interests to submit all documents as a complete package. We will be unable to progress your application until all required documents have been provided.

Can anyone tell me what this means? I have uploaded all the required information, forms, police checks and health checks already, but they are all about to expire within a month... Can I expect my visa to come through soon?

Thanks all this forum has been so helpful!

I just got the same email. As far as I know it's basically just a courtesy head's-up that they'll be reviewing your application soon so you can make sure you have everything in place.
Finger's crossed it's not too long now.

When did you apply?
I applied September 2015

Hi! I just got an e-mail too!!! I just have a few questions.

1.) I know it said that if you've already submitted certain documents that you don't have to again, but do you think it's worth re-sending everything again? (I'm paranoid!) Documents like Form 888, etc, do I have to get 2 new ones?

2.) I am travelling overseas (with my bridging visa B) on the 1st week of August and won't be back until the end of August. Is there a certain time window or deadline for additional documents after receiving this e-mail? I am worried they will not wait for my documents! :'(

3.) Am I the only one freaking out after receiving this e-mail?! LOL

Thank you in advance guys!
