Question 49 of Form 80:
Are you being sponsored by, or associated with, a business or
organisation in Australia?

I'm currently on a 457 but we have applied for an 820/801 visa. Do I put my employer's details down for this, even if they have nothing to do with my 820 application? Or do I tick 'No'?

Hey aussie2404,

Regarding this question, I try calling immi, the first person that I was talking to said it's your choice.
I wasn't happy with the answer, so I try calling again.
And the second person said that I still have 457 visa which means I am still sponsored by the business and I should put down the employer's details.

If you get any different answer from this, please let me know.

Great news - my PR has been granted!!!!!!!!
Woke up this morning to the wonderful surprise... Approved by the London office - which explains why I received the email on a Friday night!

- Applied mid-August 2015
- De-facto for 3 years before getting married in 2014
- Low-risk country
- Medical check done in August 2015
- Police checks submitted by September 2015
- Applied for Bridging Visa B in November 2015
- Received automated e-mail in April 2016, requiring us to check that all documents have been submitted (no other contact from the department, besides approval of Bridging Visa B)
- Form 80 submitted in April 2016
- 801 granted on July 29th, 2016 ("fast-tracked" to 801, since we have been together for more than 3 years)

>>> Waiting time: ~11.5 months

THANK YOU EVERYONE!!!!!!!
Thanks to all you lovely people in this forum... I couldn't have done it without the information and help here <3 <3 <3

Congratulations! Was this onshore (Australia) even though it was granted by the London office? I applied 3rd August 2015 so I really hope mine comes through soon!

Thank you!! Yes, it was an onshore application.
Looks like they're starting to look at the August 2015 applications, so shouldn't be long now!
Good luck!!! Hope you get yours soon xxx

Just a quick question for a friend of mine. She had applied for a Partner Visa subclass 820 and had uploaded 60 documents into her immi account. Needless to say, she has further supporting documents. How does she go about in adding the other evidences into her husband's immi account? Does she make it as a New Application or Import Application? She had tried to click the Import Application. However, it responded with an error message. Kindly advise. Thanks in advance.

Has anyone else waited for more than 15 months for their 820 ?

I lodged my online application on 24/04/2015 and am still waiting on the decision to be made.

I have moved from South Australia to Tasmania recently so I am not sure whether that impacted on the waiting time at all,

Any thoughts?
Shayne.

She has to go into her husband's application. So if it is in a separate immi account then she needs to log into that to add the evidence.
