Hello All,

Joining the wait here, hopefully my agent will lodge my 810/820 application online tomorrow. Then do I wait till my EVA expires end of Aug, for the bridge visa A to kick in, then immediately apply for the bridge visa B? I travel internationally for work, its been killing me not being on the go for the past few months. It's been great being able to read everyones experiences here.

Cheers!

Hi everyone, i arrived in Australia in 2007 as a student. After finishing study i got regional sponsorships so i applied visa 487 in early 2010 . In this visa i had to go in regional australia for 2 years and get permanent visa ( very easy). But they did not open my file till 2015. By then i met my life partner and applied my partner visa. Because I couldn't leave my wife in Melbourne and go country side for 2 years so i withdraw my 487. But now i am stuck in another waiting game. Its been nearly 10 months and haven't heard any thing from DIBP.

Ritik I have moved your post as it was posted in the thread for people who already hold an 820.

820 visa's take 12 to 15 months so still abit of a wait.

Welcome. I have moved your post as it was in the thread for people who already hold a 820.

The BVA kicks in once the ETA expires.

I applied online from Adelaide ... It will be process in Perth I think. Not too sure about that.

I went to back home to Europe last November for 2 weeks. I hope it will not delay the processing of the visa.

When did you apply for yours? 😄

Hi I've applied online (using an agent) in Perth on the 7th of August 2015 (12months and one day). ive seen most people having their visa granted between 12 and 13 months so thats why i don't wanna leave for 4 weeks.
