Don't over do photos, a spread with family is good.

List seems fine.

During application you have the 4 categories each to answer about relationship, then you pay. After payment you can upload documents, a page of "recommended comes up first (they tell you what document is acceptable) do them first, no need to upload a document twice.

Then I found the section to upload the rest of evidence, lots of sections and sub sections. Spend a bit of time to explore before upload - I named every document well, handy when I uploaded in wrong section several times.

No need to rush after that first page, I did mine over 2 weekends from memory.

Thanks, Amp! Yea, I was planning to upload about 20 photos total...put them together in a pdf file (one for Christmas family dinner, one for his brother's wedding/reception, one for visiting family, one for trip to Bali and another one for our trip to the US, one of us together and with the kids).
So, that would be a total of 6 uploads of photos. I took screenshots of facebook pages showing the pictures, as that way, it shows the date they were uploaded and also showed that the pics were spread over family and friend's facebook pages with their names on them. Thought that would kill two birds with one stone...show that we're socially accepted as well as show us in as a genuine couple.

Have to get an Alaska police check for my 17 year old...they don't accept credit cards. So, we have to mail the form to them (can't scan and email, as it has to include payment with it), with an international money order. But, at least I can do that and have plenty of time before it'll be required, with the 12-15 month processing time. Where are you in your process?

Hope you get your police check!

I applied in the middle of January so I'm around the 8 month mark right now. Spanish police check is the last thing I need to apply. Did my health check last week and waiting for my UK police check to arrive in the post, then just need to upload all three police checks (once the Spanish one has been translated) and I'm ready for a CO to approve my visa! I'm hoping it'll be sooner rather than later if everything is ready to go.

I think we stopped about 90% of the way through uploading our documents... The other stuff that we were going to upload is still valid and useful but I think it's just more of the same. We've covered all the categories so hopefully that's ok!

In terms of photos... We had a few of the two of us in various locations (Sydney, Uluru, on honeymoon, France) and a few with friends and family, some more formal posed photos (like the one with all my family, me, him and his parents on Boxing Day last year) and some more relaxed, candid shots where we weren't posing (picnic with his family in Botanic Gardens).

Awesome! Sounds like you have everything set and just need your grant!

I am paranoid and going to upload as much evidence as I can. Also why we're getting doctor letters and such to back up our relationship. I'm a secondary English teacher, so tend to go overboard on everything. I feel sorry for the CO who has to read through all of my declarations and information for our 4 areas. LOL!

Ok, it sounds like we have a lot of the same types of photos. I figured if I organize them into 6 separate pdf files and put headings or whatever for each photo, that will be pretty good. We have a lot of family events, outings and whatnot. So hopefully that will be solid evidence. Just a few casual ones of just he and I...because I'm usually the one with the camera! Hahaha! We haven't had professional ones taken yet...but definitely a good idea!

What is the file limit for each upload?

They weren't actually professional but when you're trying to get about 13 people into one photo it has to be quite organised! We were just all siting or standing around the sofa at my parents' place. And my brother and uncle (especially my uncle) are pretty serious photographers so that helps.

We put everything in the one document but made sure we had titles for each section. Just because you're limited to the number of things you can upload so you've gotta be a bit careful.

Think 5 mb??

I made mistake of single photos for a while, but with 2 kids included we get double number of uploads.

Just did copy past of attachments we sent not sure if was all or just ones on wife's allowance, anyway it is most. (their section name with blue ? left/ my file name right)

That's the size limit. You can upload 60 documents each (ie 60 for applicant and 60 for sponsor). We're nowhere near that as we've been conscious about condensing stuff.

Soooo awesome and helpful! Looks like you had tons of evidence and letters. I was only going to do 4-5 form 888's....and then get my family to write a letter or two. I'm including lots from Facebook as that really shows our family dynamics and the whole social thing. We also play on a game/chat site, so we're going to show all of that too. Can't think of anything else at this stage. Think all of that is enough? I'll probably keep adding stuff as we wait for the processing too. I have 2 kids, so that means I get double the amount too?

That was genius! Kept your privacy, but showed the amount of messages. See, we didn't do messaging like that...we were on call every minute that we could be. Most of the time, we'd fall asleep on video and it would disconnect. LOL! The things you do for love, eh?? But, we've been living together for the past 13 months, so don't really have to worry about showing all of the skype/texts/messages and all that. The only time we've been apart is when I took a birthday trip to Bali...he couldn't go. But it was only 4 days, and we were constantly messaging (kik) or talking on the phone. Would I need to include any of that for only 4 days?
