Wow... that is way too long!
The good thing is they are finally asking for more documents, which means they are looking into your application.
I hope you will get your visa approved as soon as possible!
Best of luck

What do u think ,any advices ?
Sounds to me like they are ready to approve it. Will keep my fingers crossed for you! I hope you get good news soon. I'd go crazy waiting that long! If they don't automatically give you the 801, I'd make sure to ask about it, as it's been so long already. Or, they might just wait until you hit that 3 year mark and go ahead and give you the 801. Keep the faith!

I'm crazy to wait that long but what can I do ,I hope so to get something very soon,so tired of this Long wait.
I saw many people when DIBP asked for this info ,that means they will finalize the application very soon in 2 or 3 weeks but in mine I dont know what's happened ,they only requested with no grant .
Fingers crossed

I'm officially in the 820 Partner Visa waiting room! Just applied this morning. Now, uploading all of the documentation. Looks like I have a long wait ahead of us. But at least we can breathe easier knowing we're in the queue. Now, if they'd just send my bridging visa, I can relax.

My Bridging Visa "A" came next day by email. I then got my Medicare card and because I had been in the country 3 months obtained an Australian Driving Licence, bought a Ute and a boat.

Thank you for replying! My rational mind knows that I'll probably get the email tomorrow for the bridging visa. But the irrational side is freaking out that I didn't get it immediately. Yes, I plan to get my WA drivers license tomorrow or Friday. I got a car last March.

Hi guys!!! I just want to share my wonderful news, I have received my Temporary Residency Grant notice yesterday morning! I am over the mooooonnn!!! I applied September 7, 2015, so it was just 2 days shy away from 13months! No phone interview or whatever.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for all your help and patience! See you all in the 801 waiting group room!

Hello everyone,

Just to share my time line about getting TR.

So what happened was, when I provide our relationship information in January 2013, I added in the dates we're going on a holiday in June, that means while I hold bridging A visa I won't be able to go overseas, I was waiting, and waiting, and end up had to pay another $150 for my bridging B, then literally the next day I received my TR.

Partner Relationship Certificate : 12th, Dec,2012
Application of 820 submitted: 13th, Jan, 2013
Bridging B submitted: 23rd, May, 2013
Visa 820 TR grated: 25th, May, 2013
Application of 801 submitted and received: 9th, Dec, 2015

At the moment still waiting for PR to be granted.

Thank you
