Hi mish and guys..I have received my application to submit my 810. And i was reading the forum, as you have stated above..

1) 2 x form 888
2) evidence since the grant of 820
3) AFP

I got a couple of qns

For 2) My 820 was granted earlier this year Feb 2016. Hence all the evidences (photos etc) i needed to provide is from Feb 2016 onwards OR from the date i submitted the application for 820 which is from dec 2014? from which timeline would be more helpful ?

for 3) I have done the AFP during the application for 820..now is for 810, do i need to undergo it again? previously i need a statement from my origin country (where i came from which is Singapore) do i need to repeat the whole process again OR can i go direct to AFP this time? Noted- since granted of AFP..i have been staying in WA and it is more than 12 mths..

==> and on the AFP- You have two options for submitting your application to the Australian Federal Police:

(( Online through the NPC online application form  Select ‘Commonwealth Purpose/Employment’ in Section 2.3 Purpose Type (drop down box) and then ‘Immigration /citizenship’ in Purpose of Check (drop down box)  Select ‘Name Check Only’ in Section 1: Type of check required

A downloadable NPC application form  Select ‘Name Check Only’ in Section 1: Type of Check Required  Select ‘Code Number 33’ (Immigration/Citizenship) in Section 8: Purpose of Check

You must apply to the Australian Federal Police (AFP), not your state’s police force  You must include all variations of names used and known by including those listed in your passport (maiden, name changed by deed poll etc.)  A fingerprint check is not required  Do not request the police certificate be forwarded directly to us. The certificate will be sent to you to check that all the details are correct before forwarding it on to u. ))

kinda confusion i say..?

4) last qn for "Character requirement --You will need to provide an original overseas penal certificate for any country in which you have resided cumulatively for 12 months or more since the grant of the temporary partner visa (UK820/UF309). " Do you think i need do it ? i have been living in perth, WA since i got my TR.

Thanks alot!

Hey Prazzle,

Thanks for sharing your update with us!

I can't believe they are taking this long to process these applications. I can not understand why they are taking 15+ months to process an application! This process is getting more and more frustrating!

Hope you get your grant soon!

Hi Keano,

here's some answers to your questions from what I understand of the 801 submission (through my own research - I'm sure others will correct me if I'm wrong)

1. You only have to submit updates on your relationship from Feb 2016 (which is the month of your 820 grant). Basically you need to prove that you're still in a legitimate relationship with your partner and that it is "current and ongoing" but only from Feb 2016 (not Dec 2014)

2. You will need an AFP for your 801 (because you have resided in Aus for more than 12 months) I believe this is to prove that since your last AFP (which could be more then a year ago), you still have a clean record etc.(just so they know you're not getting into trouble with the law etc). Unless you have gone home to SG and lived there for a total of 12 months (could be an accumulation over time), you DO NOT need one from SG.

I'm not sure where you're confused about with the AFP but I went online to the AFP website and downloaded the form to fill out and send by mail (only because I found the online bit just annoying for me as I didn't have access to a scanner) and I followed the instructions there (e.g. in section 1 of the form, tick #33 as that will then prompt the AFP to do the checks according to what is needed for the immigraiton department). Remember to go through the Australian Federal Police and not your state police (i.e. WA Police Force) as immigration would need a National police check and not just a state wide one.

3. No, if you've lived in WA since you've gotten the TR, (and it's been less than 12 months anyway), you won't need to get a penal certificate from other countries.

Hope this helps!!

hello everyone,
I'm new here so hopefully someones could advise me.
My partner and I are applying Prospective Marriage 300 visa. I'm unnemployed at the moment. and we are living apart now.My question is if I'm able to apply for a tourist visa while PMV processing time?

1.If yes what kind of evidence we have to provide for tourist visa?
2.Has my partner provide bank statement as a sponsor? Letter from employer?
3. Does my partner has to write statement on my behalf? Do I have letter as well?

The whole system is very complicated and stressfull, any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Help with visa Please

How did you all submit your police check results? does the original have to be mailed in or can it be notarized and scanned to the online application?

Just do a color scan of the original and upload it to your Immi account. Doesn't need to be notarized.

Hi everyone, i am waiting for TR, I logged in my document middle of June, 2015.
They required for more evidences on July 2016.
And on the end of October 2016 the Immigration came to my house and looking for us.
They came to our house after my wife and i finished work. Then they interviewed us for 30 mins at our living room and then had a look at our bed room.
After that they leave. it has been two weeks now from the interview.
Does anyone had that happen as us.
The interview was going good. hopefully the good result will come thru.
