I won't be surprised if 801 rises again soon as they seem to quite similar timelines to the 820.

Possible buTTTT I see a 457 change happening and that may reduce work loads?

I do not believe the 820 to 801 has any yearly limits/ planning levels either. I expect the wait time from PMV to 820 and then onto the 801 is more a staffing level. Not a quota issue.

The wait time for PMV to 820 is very variable, possibly dependent on what state or territory you lodge in. Most people on here seem to have them granted within a few weeks to months but ours is coming up to 6 months, as is one other couple's who also applied from Melbourne.

When I rang up Immi to inquire they told me (of course) that there is no difference in the processing times of 820s, whether they are from PMV or not. I do hope it's not true in our case, especially if 820s are now taking up to 19 months to be granted.

Visa Grant Notice

So I have been granted my temporary parntner visa today! I am so excited.

I applied onshore on the 16th of October 2015 and received my visa grant notice today on the 16th of November 2016 so exactly after 13 months.

I applied for a de facto partner visa. I was in a de facto relationship with my partner one year before we applied for the partner visa. I moved to Australia first on the student visa for 6 months to be with my partner. Then from the student visa we applied for the partner visa.

We attached 60 documents to my application and 14 documents to my partner's application. We kept adding documents all the time so they could see that our relationship is real. I made sure to have mine and my partner's police checks always valid. So when the police checks we have attached at the beginning were about to expire I made sure to get new ones from Poland and Australia as soon as possible.

I hope your visas will be granted soon as well guys! Good luck everyone.

If you have any questions about the visa application I am happy to help!

Congratulations Beti!! That is great news.

My husband is also Polish, I thought we might have to wait a really long time as it is a high risk country, but as you got approved in 13 months, I have new hope

HELLO ALL!
Im applying for PMV 300
Not long time ago I went to NZ for a weekend(2days) and Migration of NZ didn't allow me to enter because 2 days its not holidays.. annyway. MY question is does it mean that I 've been removed, or deported ,or excluded , or asked to leave country?? Or it doesn't mean anything? (I do not need visa to enter to NZ)

Thank you in advance

Perhaps a migration agent can give you a better advice.

Normally airlines will not carry a person without a valid visa, so with the very little useful information you supplied - I assume you had a visa and it was cancelled on arrival.

That is my guess only :- You need the official classification from New Zealand Immigration Department.

Im from Italy so I do not visa to enter to NZ. Migration didn't allow me to enter because I came only for a few days. And after that I had back to australia. from the point of them it wasn't genuine visit. Of course my visa at Melbourne airport was cancelled.
But I don't understand about NZ. It means I was deported or asked to leave or what? Cause now applying for other visa im confused..

I am lost.
