It looks like there was some action on our application. I logged in tonight to add some documents. I've been putting additional stuff under my partner, as I reached the 60 upload mark under my name. But when I went to add documents, it states Approved next to his name and won't allow me to upload anything else to his portion. What does this mean? I haven't completed medicals yet, and we're still waiting on my son's state check (Alaska is soooo slow). Other than that, everything is uploaded.

Anyone know what it means when they put "Approved" next to the sponsor's name? It says the same both on my application (just where his name is...mine still says "received") and on his Sponsor application. Should I start organizing medicals? Or is this a standard thing?
My husband's status has been saying approved since they asked me to submit form 80 (just over 2 weeks ago). I'd say your visa's not far off so maybe do your medicals.

Hoping mine gets approved today!

My partner from Colombia finally got her 820 visa last week, 4 days short of a year from when she applied. It took 6 months and 3 attempts to get her FBI clearance (fingerprint & credit card issues) but it eventually came through a few weeks ago. Within days of uploading it they contacted us for the last few remaining documents and health check, and a few days after uploading them the visa was issued!

Pretty sure a lot of the processing times depends 1). C/O ( this is a biggy) 2). Previous Visa. Cheers

Do you mean it's just unlucky if you get a lazy sod for a c/o? Or do you mean something else by that?

And what do you mean by previous visa? If you've had lots of visas previously it takes longer? I had two working holiday visas before I applied.

I also lived in Spain for a while (from the UK) so I'm wondering if that's slowing it down a bit.

Nothing yet today It's 12 days since I submitted form 80 and today being a Tuesday, I was feeling quite hopeful.

Oh that is awesome! I applied in WA online. But, I think mine is being processed in Victoria. However, I expected mine to be looked at a bit sooner, as I had to meet Schedule 3 criteria. Since they approved my partner, I'm hoping that means they accepted our Schedule 3 waiver rationale and will be asking for medicals soon. They requested the information for S3 in November, and I submitted it the very next day. Haven't heard anything since then. I already planned to do our medicals during the first school holiday, as I and my sons will be off school for 2 weeks. We have to travel to Perth for our medicals...so made sense to wait until then. We go on holiday in 2 1/2 weeks....but wondering if I should schedule now??

Have you heard anything on your grant yet, Arabella? I'd think you'll hear any day now, if they stay true to what everyone else on here has experienced. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!!

No didn't hear today in the end Seriously hoping it's this week though! I wrote down 11 addresses for the last ten years though so if they're checking all those out it might take a while. Some of them don't exist any more and I doubt there's any record I ever lived there for a couple of them.

Maybe you'd be ok to wait until the holidays if they're not far away anyway and if they do contact you before then, you can just let them know you've got them booked. How difficult is it for you to get to Perth?
