I didn't submit the F80 for my 300 or 820 and they never asked. I also didn't see the point in filling out that long form unless they asked me to.

I also took that approach and was asked to fill it out But I think that's probably the best approach as it's ridiculously long!

FORM 80

Super confused, when I applied online for my 820/801 I pretty much answered everything that is listed on the FORM 80 so why do we have to send this in separately??

Please help as I am so confused.

Thanks

And what do you mean by previous visa? If you've had lots of visas previously it takes longer? I had two working holiday visas before I applied.

I also lived in Spain for a while (from the UK) so I'm wondering if that's slowing it down a bit.

Nothing yet today It's 12 days since I submitted form 80 and today being a Tuesday, I was feeling quite hopeful.
Guess you could say some C/O's are more politely are thorough, taking longer to process. When we did our 300 a few had theirs approved in half the time which was frustrating. With the previous visa etc, we went from 300 to 820 ( 820 was approved quickly which I didnt expect as I had not compiled all the paper work .

Haha, we're several hours north of Kalgoorlie, but we'll be making the drive to Perth then up coast to Broome and back again this winter!

Driving through the Outback is a lot like playing Frogger, except we're a truck and the frog included kangaroos, emus, sheep, cows, wedge-tailed eagles, and goats (all of which we had close calls with on the last drive to Perth!).
