They upload them from the medical centre within a couple of days I think.

Looks like I've got another weekend of waiting. So annoying!

Hi Everyone again! This is the day for me to celebrate! And I thought i should share it with you guys! <3 :-)

I received my GRANT TODAY!!!

Got email that i was granted my 820 Temporary Resident and I was very happy and called my husband at work about it! Told my sister and nephew as i was excited. When i get my to my phone I tried and changed details on my VEVO APP! Because i needed the grant number, i had to go to my email on my phone and just realized i got ANOTHER EMAIL and IT WAS MY 801 PERMANENT GRANT NOTICE! My husband checked my mails and we realized that it was only few seconds difference when they sent me the emails and he joked that i did not even had a chance to celebrate my being temporary resident as i went staright to permanent! hehe.. How lucky i am today! I had a positive feeling i could have it this week and i was right! Thanks to the HIger power for keeping my hope and positive thought about all this!

Processing time was only 11 months and 3 weeks to be exact! So, to those who are waiting, I wish you best of luck! Keep up the positive vibes and all will be good!

Please help me!

So I got an email from the CO requested more information.
In the email he actually asked me to response to him in writing within 28 days. Does that mean I have to write an email back or just have to upload whatever documents were requested?

Also for the form 80, do I just fill it out then scan and upload it or do I need to send it for a security check or sth???

I'm so stressed now.
Hi, I got that kind of email last week March 24 and requested only AFP CHECK. On the email their is checklists, what i have was only afp check. So whatever is on the list provide it asap. They might give you your approval after you send it in few days just like my situation. They actually called me again on Monday 27th asking for my afp check as they wanted to finalised my paperworks. And i was lucky my afp check arrived on Monday afternoon and sent it that night, and today, this morning i got temporary residency granter and 4 seconds i got another email for my grant of 801 permanent!

Cheers!

Why are people getting their grants so soon after submitting required information when I submitted mine over three weeks ago, I've emailed since and I've heard nothing

I'm happy for you guys but my lack of information is really annoying.

Congratulations to all those who received their grants! So exciting to see them coming through!!

I have a question. My sons are supposed to have visitation with their father in the US in July. However, we're still waiting on our 820 visa and on BVCs, so can't apply for BVBs for the boys to travel to see their father. Has anyone had experience with this? It's in the court documents that the boys are to visit their father...and I know for a fact that he won't work with me and wait for the 820 visa to be approved. As I applied for the 820 Oct 2016, I highly doubt I'll get approval by then.

Any advice?? I was thinking of emailing to ask about what my options would be for the kids; but, we all know how unreliable the information from DIBP is. My oldest will be 18, so he will escort his brother for their 3 week visit (I won't have to leave and come back). Just not sure what to do to make sure they can come back to Aus and still have their rights (my oldest son has a job and does work; both go to school). Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I'd suggest starting a new thread and asking one of the agents. I hope you work something out

We have been in de facto for 3 years and 3 months then we got married - 2 months now. I don't know if that will make any difference in our case We're in WA office, not really hoping much for a quick turn around but at least we're together and surviving everyday
