The email address that is processing your application should be on the visa application confirmation letter that you got when you applied.... I assume it would be WA? In that case, I think it's [email protected]

But I hear they're pretty slow in WA... mine took >15 months. But if it's complete they might make it a priority!

That's pretty shit that one office is substantially slower than another.

It really is. I think it all depends on how many people apply in a particular state. Victoria is one of the worst.

Personally, and I've said this before, I think everything should go into one central pot and be processed in the order it's submitted. It's not like I'm applying for a visa for Victoria, it's all of Australia!

Thanks a lot. I'll send them an email and see what happens.

I had a look at the confirmation letter and there was no email address. All I could see was this:
Department of Immigration and Border Protection
OFFICE: 6 Chan Street Belconnen ACT 2617
POSTAL: PO Box 25 Belconnen ACT 2616

It's really hard to tell exactly which office is processing your application unless you've received correspondence from them since applying. I applied from WA, but my application is being processed in VIC. But, doesn't hurt to try and email. Or give them a call.

I was in the same situation. I took a guess and sent my emails to WA, with the request to let me know if this was not the correct office. But I got my grant from WA so I guess I guessed correctly :P.

820 granted yesterday!

Lodged 820/801 - 26 July 2016
BVA granted - 26 July 2016
BVB granted - 23 August 2016
Received request for Police Clearance - 28 February 2017
BVB granted - 1 March 2017
Requested for extension to comply with Police Clearance reqt - 17 March 2017
820 visa granted - 20 April 2017

1. Note that I applied for BVB even before my BVA took effect.
2. Note that I was unable to comply with Police Clearance requirement (this was for one of the countries I lived before, not my home country). When I requested for extension, I submitted a Character Stat Dec (one member suggested this) and looks like it worked!

Same for us. There was an email address in my wife's BVA letter of confirmation so we used that instead. Unsure if that is the right one though. We're in QLD.

Wow! That is awesome! Congratulations!! Loving seeing these grants under the year mark. Let's hope everyone who has been waiting a while will finally get those grants!

Just checked. When we first applied online our BVA grant letter had an ACT address at the bottom. Last week when we got our BVB approved, the address at the bottom is a West Perth, WA address. That's interesting.

Also, I have that same email address at the bottom: [email protected]. Doesn't appear on the ACT letter header/footer.

I'm in Perth.
