Congrats! That's amazing! Been waiting 13 months now, had everything submitted within 2 months of coming here. I'm glad to see people are getting their approvals. Maybe there is hope.

Hopefully you'll hear something soon especially because your application is decision ready!

All I can think of is to try and call. I understand it's difficult when working, but maybe during a break or first thing in the morning? Where did they process your visa? Maybe email that office directly, instead of going through the website. My CO gave me her direct line when she called me asking for the remaining forms that she needed for my grant. Mine was completed in the Victoria office. I can't believe you haven't heard back yet. That's ridiculous!

Yikes now I am not feeling very hopeful...I submitted mine Oct 20 2016 with everything except medical, I never was requested for medical but Went ahead and did them on May 12 2017 , and so far have heard nothing. So I am losing hope of the quick approval

Such a relief having it come through and much quicker than we thought! Our timeline was:

Applied: Oct 18 2016
Medical requested: May 12 2017
Medical completed: May 18 2017
Visa granted: May 22 2017

We submitted our application with everything (police checks etc) except the medical and it took just over 7 months

Happy for you, though, a part of me is "oh for f*ck's sake, another quick approval".

We applied a week before you, and had everything except the medical up 2 weeks later.

I'm thinking our applying for BVB gave them the green light to prioritise other applications now...

Yes. Yes indeed. Lack of consistency and unpredictability often provoke such reactions, sport.

Oh, f***ck's sake I am waiting for more than 14 months I know it is so annoying to wait but it's been only 6 months. Fingers crossed for both of us

I still think that you'll get it soon. They are doing a lot of quick approvals lately. I'd really love to see all the ones who have been waiting a long time get theirs by the end of the month. Would only be right. I don't understand the 14+ months waiting when people supply everything needed for approval. I guess it really depends on which CO gets the files. It seems some COs are MUCH faster than others. Hang in there everyone! It'll come through!

If you applied when the waiting time was listed at 12-15 months, maybe file a complaint at the 15 month mark? I've seen others do that and then get their grant. I understand that the waiting time has increased; however, go by what it was when YOU applied. It's really ridiculous for people to be waiting so long when you're from a low risk country and have a decision ready application.
