it is normal to receive that (we did too ... even if my wife already had done the 2 of the 3 tests required within the past 12 months for her previous visa and only did the HIV test)

Is there any updates from anyone from a high risk country waiting for 820?

Our application was submitted with everything (police checks, health checks etc) in October 2013. Now it's June 2014, so around 9 months. Only on Bridging Visa A so far.

Still waiting for news about the TR 820.

I just got my partner visa 820 granted!! I'm over the moon and I sure that I had a small heart attack earlier!! Haha!!

I sent my application in the beginning of May and got it granted today!!

It was a complete application with police checks and medical.

I got told the waiting time was 9-12 months!! I'm so lucky! Now the job hunting begins!

Thank you all for the kind words.

I'm very happy about my quick response but still think it's all very unfair, they should really look over their system..
