Indeed. Im planning to get it done as soon as possible because I don't feel comfortable to bringing my passport to everywhere which i think it is not necessary.

Does anyone know when do we need to go for health check after we submitted the visa application? Anytime from now or have to wait for case officer to call up?

Whenever you want. Now, in a few months, or when a CO requests it.

Yea because the medical result only valid for 12 months...if visa not granted within 12 months then need to redo again.... $$$

Then why even ask? Just wait for a CO to request it.

Not everyone is requested to redo medicals after 12 months, especially onshore. But naturally it's a risk to do it early.

You get done for driving while unlicensed. At least I was, when I did that in NSW many many years ago, and got stopped in a random stop.

Hi. I applied in June 2017 and today i received an email asking for more docs. I think its a standard email s56. They need both me and my partner police clearance cert and my medical. But why do they need character cert for my partner. He has never live in another country for more than 12 mths.

Anyway, its been 4 mths and im getting an email. I was so excited but nervous at the same time. Ithought they gonna ask for more evidence on rship. I thought they only ask for the abovementined certs prior approval? Or are they doing backwards now?

Hi guys, just a quick update and not surprising, immigration in less than a week raised the maximum processing time to 24 months (and believe me they will use this to give an answer on day before the 24th month). The attorney general suggested to complain and complain since we need to put pressure on this. Also for those who do not know the address for NSW processing center is: "Partner Temporary NSW" <[email protected]> keep emailing them and file a complaint within the immigration website. Cheers.
