Don't be disheartened! You're well within the normal waiting range. Remember, just up until a few months ago the average wait times based on this forum was around 13-15 months!

I applied in June 2017 as a British Citizen, with everything ready to go and still waiting..I think it's just a game of luck in many cases..doesn't make it any easier to wait though!

Cheer up and my 23+ mths' wait hasn't destroyed me.

Cheer up and stay positive. Days are hard to go by if thinking about this all the time. I have applied for 820 onshore 23.4 months ago. Regardless the request for further info in Dec last year, I have had no news since then. As crazy as it is, still have to go with it, and work, and eat and play hard.

Thank you all for the kind words! Stella, sorry to hear about your long wait, hope you get good news soon! You said that you work - did you find it “easy” to find a job on a bridging visa? That is my main concern...

Hi Desai, it's a generic email and they will respond with an auto reply. You will just have to wait for them to contact you.

Hi Saozita,

There wasn't too much drama for me to find my current job to be honest. When I changed job last year a lot of ads on Seek website only asked for work right. Of course it will be another different story when it comes to jobs within banking industry, gov sectors, etc. Indeed when I started my current job last year my current employer only asked for tax number and some information such as address, bank account for salary, etc. I am Melbourne-based and so is my visa application.

The only thing I found tricky to be on bridging visa was home loan and I have gone through quite a bit of drama regarding that. Luckily I still got home loan done with CBA which was the only bank would consider and offered me home loan jointly with my partner.

I was just wondering if anyone else is having their visa being processed in the London office? We submitted onshore in Sydney June 2017 and requested for our police checks February 2018. I have seen lots of posts regarding quick turn arounds from Malaysia and Fiji but nothing from London. I am a uk citizen and my partner Australian born and bread and we have a child together. Anyone else with a London case officer? I need some hope!

Question regarding 801/820 Application

Hi Everyone ,

I have recently submitted application for the Partner visa onshore. I just wanted to clarify a question.

While filling out the online application i have filled the Statuary declaration, nature of relationship and responsibilities. After submitting the application i can see that they are asking same details as an attachment.

Does this mean i have to submit them again or what ever i have filled in the online application will be enough? Your feedback would be much appreciated.

Thanks
