Apart from medical, I lodged everything else.

On another note - exactly as JandE said - Harry get your medical underway to save any further delays, although there is a possibility it can expire, it probably won't and you will probably have grant sooner rather then later.

Either that or just send them a befuddlement draught.
I am also planning to do it.
How do i get medical and from where? is there suppose to be a letter issued by immi office?
If i do get medical done, should i just post out to immi office? since i lodged everything by paper.

Thanks
Harry

Still waiting

Hello everyone, applied for my wife's 820/801 Combined application based on marriage in May 2016{i am Aus citizen already since 2013} so it has been 26 months now and we haven't heard from immigration as of yet. We did lodge an inquiry few months ago to which we received the generic Please-wait-for-the-global-processing-times email. We already did her medicals at the start when we applied but didn't do AFP. We haven even traveled since applying the visa just in case the file progresses and we are not here to provide updated documents in time. Please can someone provide guidance and shed some light as to what would be the next step to take? I called yesterday and was speaking with lovely lady who advised Patience is a virtue so keep waiting which is fine but question is how long should i keep waiting before i take action. The silver lining is atleast my wife and i together in this beautiful Melbourne while we wait. I feel someone should create a new page for those waiting over 24 months. I joined this today so might figure out in a day or two. Please send positive vibes i could really use them at the moment.

Hello guys! Today i received an email from CO asking for afp and form 80. I'm a bit excited but I am from high risk country so it might be the first part of their initial assessment. I hope this is a good sign.

Great news! Received my 820 grant this morning! I applied for an additional Bridging B Visa last week and the grant for that was issued yesterday after which they issued me my 820 visa rendering my Bridging B obsolete. And now the long wait for 801 begins!

Submitted AFP and FBI checks: 26 March 2018.
Health, AFP, UK and Indian Clearance Requested: 2 April 2018
Indian Police Clearance Submitted: November 2017
BUPA Health Exam: 18 April 2018
All documents submitted: 21 April 2018
820 Partner Visa granted: 18 July 2018

Hi! Congrats

Quick question on the timeline, did you submit your application on Nov 2017 or Mar 2018? What were the 'all documents submitted' April 21, 2018?

Thank you

I submitted my 820/801 Partner Visa application on January 26, 2017. My Indian Police Clearance came through in November 2017, my AFP in April 2018. My partner's FBI clearance came through in March 2018 and all these documents along with my BUPA Health Clearance were submitted together by my lawyers to the CO on 21 April 2018.

I noticed in April 2018 it said my partner was approved to be a sponsor. We didn't hear anything off anyone once and no further requests for information and we were granted the visa on 2nd July 2018.
Just wanted to let you all know to hang in there. We were so nervous and worried all this time, but it worked out fine. I now know I can live (hopefully when 801 is granted) happily ever after with my partner 🙂
Hi! I just want to ask how did you know your partner is approved as sponsor? did they notify you? message you? or did you see it in the portal? thanks

Hello,
I've been granted bridging visa A, which will start at the end of my visitor visa on the 18th of Aug.
However I need to leave the country on the 15th of Aug, Do i still need to apply for BVB even I leave during my visitor visa?

Can I apply for BVB right now evn I haven't finish uploading all my documents, and haven't done my required medical examination?
Thanks all

P.s. My current visa is visitor visa eta multiple entry, 3 month stay. I entered the country on 18 of May with it.
