First post. Apologies guys, this might sound a little bit inquisitive. I'm just wondering why the immi asked me to provide another form 80 having submitted one with my application? Does that mean they've lost it or what? Curious mind...

Hi everyone,
My 820 was granted a few weeks ago and I have a few questions:

Do I need to do anything to get my full medicare card?
Do I need to let them know when I travel overseas? How can I do it?

Thanks so much

I recall that happened to us, but I just submitted it, and got the grant later that day...

Medicare: Just apply for it. You were eligible the day you paid and applied for the 820/801 visa. You'll only get the interim card until you have PR.

You should update your contact information, yes. Do it in your immi account by clicking "Update your details" or similar.

When information required from you, does it show in your messages or on the tap e.g. “action required- arrange health examination”?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
I saw the same on my homepage while logging into my ImmiAccount and even before submitting my Partner visa application form.
I would imagine that its a request from the department to complete your medical as earlier for my visitor visa application I had an 'action required' tag against a document that I had to upload as supporting evidence. I hope this helps! Good luck!

Those aren't three medicals, it's one. All of those are required to pass the medical and they all get done at the same time.
But is there a way to get a HAP ID before actually lodging the application? I get always re-routed back to my ImmiAccount homepage when I try to start 'My Health Declarations'!
Any help would be appreciated! Thanks ya'all!

Hi guys, My 820/801 (paper) application was in January 2017, and ever since then I haven't done any updates. I was asked 2 days ago to provide form 80 and AFP. My question is, Can I also add some other documents. Such as Bills, Home Ownership documents( my wife and I just bought a new house 4 months ago) and also, few of our outing photos just to demonstrate the authenticity of our relationship? I will really appreciate your ideas. Cheers!

It's not a request from the Department. It's an automatic notice for all partner visa applications because a health exam is required. A request comes directly from a CO, typically via email and with a 28 day deadline to respond.

As far as I know you can keep uploading documents - as long as there are still space to upload. But prioritise form 80 and AFP as these are what they requested.

Hi Original
We applied with a paper application also. After we had lodged 12 months we asked our agent to send an update with new evidence (new rental lease, holidays, bank accounts etc.). As we are based in NSW she emailed this to [email protected] and put our application ID as the email subject.

As we don't know anyone else who has done a paper application it would be great to hear how you go and how long it takes after you supply the requested information to get your 820 grant. At this stage we have been waiting 15 months and haven't heard anything.
