Im sure you will be due for a grant soon. 1 year coming from a PMV is quite a long time, so I would imagine hopefully not too much longer. On the plus side, it means you wont have to provide as much evidence when you are eligible to apply for the 801, as generally all evidence to give them is since the grant of the 820. |
I have lodged 820 on Feb last year, haven't get any news from them. Hope it can be faster. But I just heard last night about someone else got the 801 recently, his lodge time similar to mine. Hope mine granted ASAP.

Hi all,
Good news finally got my 820 and 801 granted today. So happy. After years of waiting it finally happened Its been a long tortuous journey for me, with an initial rejected partner visa, rejection at the AAT and the reprieve via ministerial intervention and now 25 months later I have PR :) Thanks to this forum for putting me in touch with knowledgeable migration agents as well as providing me with answers via all the posts that others have made So to everyone still waiting, keep at it have faith and it will come. Thanks |

What was the reason they refused your visa initially? |
My wife received her 820 grant today. A bit over 6 months. Processed in Suva
Interesting though, she never had to do a medical. We uploaded everything apart from her medical as she was in the early stages of her pregnancy when we applied. We did supply a medical for her PMV300 but that expired in Sep 2018 so they gave her a fair bit of leeway PMV300 Lodged 26 Sep 2017 in the Philippines Medical requested 14 Nov 2017 PMV300 granted 20 Dec 2017 processed in Manila 820/801 Lodged 2 July 2018 820 Granted 16 Jan 2019 processed in Suva, Fiji |

Great news! Do you have an Australian dependant ( aside your partner) when your visa was refused? Also, if you don’t mind me asking, what was your schedule 3 about?. Because with my situation I think I will have to go through the schedule 3 stage, I just recently submitted my application tho.

All the best with your application. If you haven't engaged a RMA, I suggest you do so especially one who is familiar with the schedule 3. Schedule 3 waiver can be a very difficult thing to get |
