Can anyone provide some advice...not sure if we've been forgotten.
We have been waiting for our 820/801 since applying in January 2018. There has been no news since then. We applied from a PMV300. It's been about 20 months now! I dont think I've seen anyone wait this long coming from a PMV 300. Application is pretty straightforward - been in long term relationship before getting married. |

Have you sent an enquiry asking if you have been forgotten? |

Hi there.
I'm in a similar situation to Monev. The application was submitted in Nov 2017 and we haven't gotten any news yet. Since the estimate is between 22 and 28 months we expected it to be rather late but I'm not sure it's normal. Every 6 months we get a "In process" on the immi site, which seems automated. We never contacted them because we figured it's better to not seem like we are impatient, but I'm not sure anymore. What is the right course of action? |

I've noticed quite a few people get grants shortly after sending in a genuine enquiry for something specific. |

The following is my timeline: 820 visa applied 14 June 2018 Request my partner's AFP 13 Dec 2018 Request for my health check and AFP 22 July 2019 820 Granted 30 Aug 2019 I am from Taiwan. All the best to everyone who is still waiting. |
sorry to bother you but I am wondering whether my partner should
apply for the fiance visa or offshore partner visa if we marry abroad before i return to Australia . Assuming you and your spouse lived in different countries , how did you satisfy the joint finances test which is a crazy test really and especially for oldies like me with a few divorces sadly as one never knows what might happen in a marriage ??. have had to wait 5 years after deception by former russian wife wife ! ( wry smile ) . Hoping you will answer and congratulations on getting the visa . |
