So I finally got the email from Immigration to start stage 2 of my 820/801.

Applied for PMV : March 2017
Granted PMV: Oct 2017

Applied 820 : June 2018
Granted 820: Jan 2019

About to apply for 801 and lo and behold, my agent sends me a huge checklist and forms to fill out for stage 2, similar to when i applied for the first stage.

Is this necessary? The forms part gets to me as I've done those twice for the PMV and then 820.

I know what you mean, but at least not much for the sponsor to do this time. Just the sponsor declaration.

But three applications does get tiresome. Hope you have copies of the old ones to follow..

820 granted! 801 questions...

Hi All,

I have found this forum extremely helpful over the last 2 years - so thanks for everyone's input.

My 820 has been approved - approx 16 months ago. I'm British and applied in Sydney.

As I start looking at applying for the 801, I had a few questions that weren't clear on the Immi website:
1: Would I need to resubmit a police check (both Aussie and international)? As Immi website suggests only if you didn't submit it when applying for 820 (however the wording is vague and unclear).

2: When applying for 820, both my partner and myself had to complete a Stat Dec (Partner Visa). However it seems that when applying for 801, it's only my partner who needs to complete this - is this correct?

PMV to 820 in 2020

Hey all,

I've been following this thread closely and its been really helpful.

We applied for 820 coming form PMV 300 on 8 Feb 2020. From what i've learnt here, PMV to 820 grants should be faster, just wondering if anyone has gotten a 820 grant recently, specifically coming from PMV300 or have they stopped processing them during this period.

Cheers.

Just wondering if someone can tell me from where i can get DOHA inquiry form for requesting fast track application.
My degree is finishing in 6months but my student visa Is valid till August 2021.
It's a really long time to get Bridging Visa A ineffect.
I did got to know other ways to get student visa cancelled after degree but all are risky and I don't want to do those.
Please guide.
