I cannot thank you enough ; I sent them a message on Thursday night, and got my permanent visa Friday morning!!
I'm so happy to hear that! Congratulations!!
Lizbiz88, I remember you asked if the permanent visa can be requested without a 2 year waiting period. Did you try anything and did it work?

Hi, yes I did ask but at the time of application we were shy of being together for three years by about six months and but I also did add to the fact that we are looking to purchase a home and some banks aren't favourable on the fact that he's not a permanent resident. They still said we had to wait till the 2 years which is fine We can delay that it's okay it just gives us more time to save for a deposit to borrow less till we can apply for his 801.

For me I just wanted to get the confirmation to see what the eligibility was to get that 801 granted after the 820 because I was unable to find anything on the website.

No, in a word, unfortunately!!

Went from 10 months to 23 - there have not been very many on here who have had positive news recently compared to earlier in the year.
