Interesting note, CG. The reason why I was asking was that due to some weird reason (or maybe due to my mistake) I have filled in that my partner's email is the primary source of communication so she will be the one getting all communication first hand. I don't know how I did it, but I'm not willing to change it as I don't mind her receiving all correspondence. I have no issues with that at all, I just wanted to be there as well when communication is received rather than receive second hand information...I mean I wanna hear I've been granted a visa, not being told by my partner

I signed up my personal email to receive notifications when correspondence status changes, but I'm doubtful now that I will ever receive anything first hand. Which in the end doesn't matter much in the scope of things, as long as all finishes well.

This week we are completing 1 year since we applied.

Applied paper in Sydney. 4+ relationship. Medicals and Police Checks sent, but not front loaded.

Hey I've just logged into my IMMI Account and found some different messages, the first is:

"correspondence for this application is currently being sent to the Primary Applicant at the following email address...."

Does this mean I should be expecting an email or are they just confirming my email?

Also it says:

"Processing - Please wait for the department to contact you"

Is this a good sign?

I know I know I'm getting my hopes up

Does this also mean I can't uploda anything else? I still need to add my Police Checks and Form 80 but I presume they'll ask for those or can I just add them now even though it says wait for someone to contact me?

How lucky are all of you that have had your visas approved! We're up to the second month mark and I'm getting really frustrated that there's nothing yet, but I'd be really fooling myself if I expected results at this stage.

Now repeat a thousand times 'Patience is a virtue.'
