Oh. Interesting. We had no problems with the online application. Sometimes you think there are glitches, when really you've put in something wrong. For example, copying and pasting from a Word Doc into the section where it says write about the history of your relationship sometimes won't work, depending on whether you've used apostrophes etc. It won't accept apostrophes from a Word Doc.

So far - only one 820 lodged online!

14 months is such a long time! :/ How disappointing. As Amandy said, have you contacted Immigration? I believe you are able to after the 13-month mark to get a status update. The waiting game is awful!

Hello everyone, I lodged my 820/801 onshore partner application on Feb 23rd, 2012 and it was approved on Aug 31st, 2013. If I'm correct, that was over an 18 month wait. I know how frustrating the wait can be, and I often thought of giving up and going home, but I'm glad I didn't. And the good news is, because it took so long for the first stage, I'm nearly ready to apply for permanent residency. So, try not to stress and worry, and enjoy your new country and the time with your family and new friends. Before you know it, it will all be over and be one of those stories you tell your grandkids. Lol Merry Christmas and Happy New Residents Year!

18 months onshore and from a low-risk country. That is wrong and sad! But congrats ...

Yes, it was definitely a long wait. But my wife and I had a baby during that time and it was all worth it just for him.

I'm using the online application for my 801 permanent visa, so hopefully that one will be approved much more quickly.
