Wow you guys deserve medals waiting that long! I'm coming up to 5 months and I wouldn't want another 7 months of this. Well done for hanging in there

Thanks CollegeGirl!

Best wishes to you too adm6 - it is great to have this waiting room where we have people in the same situation.

Hi kizzy_1 - it has been OK as life just goes on like normal, but now that we are at the one year stage we really would like to hear something soon.

I'm starting to get excited now knowing it shouldn't be too much longer we'll have to wait. Kizzy_1, bluesky is right, for the first couple of months after we applied it was constantly on my mind but after that and up til now I kinda forgot about it and the months went by - there's no point worrying about it, it's gonna be a long wait. Now that we're getting close though it's hard not to think about it!

VEVO password

Hi BlueSea - It's just the same VEVO that everyone uses. No access to online processing of applications. The advantages are that a password is faster to use AND it shows you immediately if you have been granted a visa without having to wait for the Visa Grant Letter or Email. Hope this helps...

Dinkum - is that a login in/passwords to access any updates on our visas online like those who applied online? Different to VEVO? I didn't know paper applicants could access the online stuff.

Thanks!

DIBP follow-up

Hi BlueSea - We haven't asked DIBP for any updates at all. We just updated our police clearances by registered mail. No plans to contact them until after 15 months has passed.

I'm still here waiting.

Not so concerned anymore as hubby got a permanent full time job in his field of studies whilst on the BVA. So we're happy.
It'll be 9 months in a few of days.
