Dinkum, did you send your medicals when you applied or did you wait for some time to pass? Also, did you get asked to resubmit your medicals (in case you first submitted them at the beginning)?

Medicals

We sent the medical report with our paper lodgement on 23 July 2013. We were not asked to resubmit a medical. College Girl mentioned a while back that CO's have some discretion - maybe up to 6 months beyond the 12 months nominal validity date. Without being asked, we did update both police clearances after 12 months. Happy to answer any other queries. Hope this helps. Cheers. We are just so happy... It's still hard to believe!

820 granted!

Thanks to everyone who sent congrats and good wishes when our 820 was granted yesterday afternoon. We are so happy, but it's taking time to sink in that the hardest part of waiting and worrying is over. Let's hope our 801 and citizenship goes as well. Good wishes to everyone who has waited and watched. Thanks to those who have helped and advised us so freely with their knowledge and wisdom.
