Our 820 visa was granted at 2 pm today. It took just under 14 months from the date of lodgement. We had no contact or requests from DIBP. Best wishes to all of you waiting here and hoping you will get good news soon. See you in the 801 waiting room. :):):)

congratuation

Hi everyone,
I just wanted to share the news that I got my visa approved today! I applied on Jan 3 so it took 8 months and 8 days :) I'm so happy.

I had no communication with the department except for an email mid July to say I'd be assigned a case officer soon. I emailed about three weeks ago to ask whether I'd been assigned one yet and was told they were still assigning applications from December.

I applied online in Melbourne, onshore, with a decision ready application, and it looks like it was routed to the WA office.

Thanks to everybody who has been posting on this thread, especially the regulars like College Girl, I didn't post much but I read a lot and you all helped me stay a bit saner :)

Good luck to those who are still waiting and I hope you all get your good news very soon.

Could someone please advice the website to download a free sample of an editable will (perhaps in Word)?
Thanks in advance.
