We got our 820 last week! My partner got an email with the visa attached. Woohoo

Applied (Sydney, on shore, decision ready) July 2013
Received September 2014 - 14 months in total.

No contact from Case Officer until now.

Congratulations. Thanks for sharing. Your timing is very similar to ours at 14 months. Time to relax and celebrate a bit now... enjoy life in Oz together... :):):)

That's great news! May I ask which country your partner is from?

EDIT: Oh, I just saw from a low-risk country :)

Haha, finally I find the group I belong.
My partner and I just submit our 820/801 visa application in person yesterday!
Endless waiting

College Girl, could you please advise which website to download a free editable sample of a Last Will and Testament? Does it need to be notarised afterward? Kindly reply as soon as possible. Thanks in advance.

Congratulations

Congratulations Speedyetz! Out of curiosity, did you resubmit new police checks given that they are only valid for 12 months?

No, we didn't resubmit anything even though our medical checks and police checks were well past their 12 month 'expiry date'.

We actually did the checks in January 2013 as we were intending to submit by February, but we didn't get around to it until July 2013. So, the checks were around 20 months old at the time the visa was granted. No issues though, it seems.

The only thing we submitted after our application was a notice to correct some information- I'd mistyped a date in my personal statement so sent a letter to correct that.
