I was going to say what Amandy said--I wonder what took so long!! But I'm glad you have your visa now. I think your story should give some hope to people who have been waiting over a year--a decision is in sight! :)
I was actually going to ask about that--if paper 820 applicants can use the online system for 801. Good to know! I'll definitely be using that when it's our turn. |

Hi guys,
I checked VEVO today and i found that my Partner Subclass 820 has been approved since 13/Dec. I have given up on checking vevo for about 2 months now, so i didn't even know that my application has been approved. I was just so happy and called my hubby at work to announce to him the good news. After all the waiting and stress, finally.....i got mine!!! This is the best Christmas present ever Thanks everyone in this forum for the support . |
And Merry Christmas everyone!!!

Anyone else had onshore 820 visa grants recently? I see some are being granted from Feb/March 2013 application dates. Hopefully that means 2013 applications are moving along. It could mean absolutely nothing of course though!

I forgot to update this thread, though I did post a different one. Yes, mine was just granted on January 6. Application date was March 25. More information was requested November 25, medical and AFP sent in December 9, FBI clearance sent in January 6. So, it was granted nine months after my application was sent in and six weeks after the request for more information, though I think if I'd been able to turn in my FBI clearance earlier it would have been granted earlier!
I hope everyone starts hearing some news soon. Fingers crossed for you all! |
