I have applied for 189 visa from India and my question is weather we will have to carry the visa paper every time we travel.

You never HAVE to carry it unless traveling to certain countries where they can't check systems electronically, but it's a good idea. If there's ever any kind of weird system glitch (it happens very rarely, but it does happen) you want to be able to prove your visa grant. Your other option is to pay for a visa label.

Original Nationality: US
Visa #1: PMV (300) through Washington, D.C
Applied: April 2013.
Visa Granted: January 2014.
Visa #2: Subclass 820 (From PMV).
Applied: End of April 2014.
Visa Granted: Early July 2014.
Visa #3: 801 (PR)
Eligibility Date: End of April 2016 (Applied a month prior).
PR Granted: Early April 2017.
