send queries to the Case Officer yes or no?

Hello there. I was just wondering if its ok to email the case officer, in her last email to me she will be getting the integrity check by beginning of this month and we havent heard from them in a while. I was thinking of emailing her but my fiance says that they might think that were being impatient. what do you think?

I think you are being impatient. It is hard, I am in the same boat! But it's only 1 week into the month, so nothing is late yet. It is in your best interests to not bother your case worker. Their time is better spend processing applications! And it's doubtful that they've forgotten about you.

Ther Maverick is spot on and some checks are made by agencies outside of the Immi department and when there's checks to be made overseas they can take months and just not weeks.

It's one area that the Net has not really helped too much with other than not relying on snail mail.
