Help with visa anyone?

My husband and I met online toward the end of 2012. He came to visit me in Brazil and I moved to be with him at the beginning of this year. We were married in August. He is a NZ citizen and has been in Oz for a few years but is not Oz citizen. I am from Brazil, am 21 and he is 32 so a little bit of age gap. I studied but Australia will not accept the qualification. Is there going to be any concern of our relationship for the Government? I am worried that we may be rejected! We are trying for the spouse/partner visa.
Thank you for your help!

An 11 year age different doesn't seem that significant, and that's only one thing DIBP would consider. As long as you can demonstrate the genuine nature of your relationship, you stand a good chance with your application. Is he an eligible NZ sponsor for a partner visa?

NZ citizens aren't automatically a PR of Australia unless they met certain criteria. So he needs to confirm his own status first and then see what you can apply for.

That said, you can apply for the 461 as his wife, but that doesn't give you PR status in Australia. The 461 is still a temporary visa.

Sorry I was confused he is not permanent residant. Is this a factor in application? It is very confusing as there is "eligible" and "non eligible" NZ citizen.
How to prove I can financially support him? Is there a pay that they look for? We have only been married since August and living together since March. Is this of concern?

Then you have a problem... he doesn't qualify to sponsor you for a partner visa. As Maggie-May said the 461 would be an option for you.

Okay, then you're not applying for a partner visa. Partner/fiance visas include the 300, 309/100, and 820/801. You're applying for the 461 as a spouse. I know, sounds like a negligible difference, but because it's an entirely different visa, information you see regarding "partner visas" or "spouse visas" is not automatically going to apply to you. You need to specifically search out information on the 461 in order to find information that will be helpful. And I'm not sure how much you'll find here - there are not people posting about it here all that often.
