VE-175 change of circumstances

Hi everyone

1) can anyone let me know if i leave my present employment without aquiring a new job will this affect my application?

2) Will I still need to fill the change of circumstances form? If yes what should I write for new employer?
3) Can I write to them that I am on a month break from working as I am building my own house and till I find a new employer?

I have submitted all medical & PCC checks in Mid march 2010 as requested. however in my online document check list still reads as 'required' even though I submitted all initial docs in Oct-2009

Kindly give me your advice.

thanks & regards

Some people look at online or application acknowledgement information sent by Immi that uses phrasing such as [QUOTEhowever in my online document check list still reads as 'required'][/QUOTE] and interpret that as meaning they are required to submit medicals and police checks whereas it is only an indicator as to the status for such documents and is never likely to be changed until you have a CO.

Have you actually been advised of having a CO and did the CO directly request you to get the checks done is what is the real determiner of what may be happening re application processing.
As to change of circumstances, use the appropriate form and just show that for a planned period of personal activity you'll be without an employer and when you are employed again, you can submit another circumstance change.

Hi Wanderer

Thanks for your reply.

Actually I do have a CO and CO requested for medicals & PCCS in early Feb-2010 which I submitted by Mid march-2010.
I just need to clarify if being unemployed for a certain period of time will Jeopardise my application which seems to be at the final stage.
One of my friends who applied one month after me (Nov-2009) has already received his visa 2 weeks ago(Different CO). Our jobs are similar(Civil Engineer)

I am worried why mine is getting delayed. I have already written to CO (2weeks back)informing that I submitted all the documents requested and if there is anything more to be submitted. However I have not received any reply.

Kindly seeking your advice.

Thanks & regards

Mid March to now is not a great length of time as far as visa applications go even if some do go through quicker than others.
Unless there is something in particular that may need further review, your notification could be around the corner.
Documents still showing as required can also happen just because it is an administrative task waiting for someone to just update a file.
