ACS Assessment

Hi all,

I working on my ACS assessment as "Computing Professionals not elsewhere classified ASCO 2231-79" and need some advise

I don't have an IT degree, but I have nearly 12 years of IT experience, starting from system administrator to applications team lead to IT deployment coordinator, etc.

I've got two personal references from my colleagues that cover 6 years of my IT experience.
I have employment records that verify all 12 years of IT experience (this was translated to English as it is from one of post-Soviet countries).
I have also prepared Statutory Declaration where I described my IT experience, and I've had it witnessed at the AU embassy.

Will above evidence be enough for positive assessment at ACS? If that's not enough, will I be able to provide additional evidence (will ACS even request additional documents, or they just say "Not qualified" and that's it)?

Thanks to all for looking and I'd appreciate help you may provide

Erik

Other than someone having done anything similar Erik, your best bet is to just thoroughly read what the ACS site has in regard to assessments of experience based applications.

I think from memory they also may grant recognition for different levels, ie as an associate instead of professional level.

It'll no doubt come down to how well they can accurately determine your skills from what you provide for assessment.
