Couple migrating

Hello, forgive me if there is already a similar thread.

We are a gay couple in a civil partnership registered in the UK (living in Dubai for 10 years), we are mixed nationality - South African and British.

We are looking to move to Australia - my question is this - I score more than enough points to apply (and hopefully be accepted)- but will my partner be able to apply as my partner as married couples would do or would we both have to apply separately?

Thanks in anticipation of your advice!

Same sex partners are recognised by the governement, including for immigration.
You'll just need to have evidence to support it just like a married couple still do, your registration no doubt helping as a marriage certificate would.
