An endless journey....................

Hi all

I have applied for 175(offshore) in CSL. Submitted my PCC & medicals by mid March,2010 after being requested by CO. Till now no reply.

Should I wait a little longer or give a call to DIAC?

Your thoughts are always appreciated.

Thanks in advance

I have seen references by Immigration agents that processing does normally slow a bit as the end of the financial year is approached, targeted numbers may be close to being met etc.
There is also the regulations changes development that is approaching finalisation and processing staff will be involved in training and some departmental management changes in association with that.

COs and the assessment teams that they are part of are handling numerous applications simultaneously and as information come back in for one, any particular application will be one of many to be considered for the next step when the CO gets to it after going through all those preceding and so if every applicant was attempting to contact COs rather than just be patient, all that would do is distract the CO from doing their job and thus less time spent on what they need to be doing.
