Subclass 190 Visa (EOI suspended)

Hi all,

I have googled / searched this forum (among others) before posting, so apologies if this has already been answered elsewhere.

After having received an invite from Victoria to apply for a state sponsored visa (subclass 190), I proceeded to the Skill Select page, and submitted my EOI, making the payment online. The application status at this point changed to "Lodged", and the EOI was suspended.

I understand this is the norm. However, with the EOI suspended, it doesn't seem that I have any means to upload my police clearance reports which have only now been issued. My next steps are contacting DIBP and asking for information on how to supply these documents. Additionally, my medical was done today, which was scheduled via the online systems. The results I suppose will be routed via systems between the assigned medical partner and DIBP.

Does all seem correct to others who have gone through this process? Am I missing some obvious link on the Skill Select page where I can upload additional documents?

Thanks, I appreciate your time.

This weekend they introduced a new system. You need to register for an 'ImmiAccount' here: ImmiAccount

Once you register you can import your lodged application onto the new system and it will allow you to upload documents.

All the best,

Hello,

Hope you all are well. I have submitted my visa application on 2 Dec. I have checked the immi.gov and apparently all people who have submitted their applications before 6 Dec '13 need to create an ImmiAccount and import their application on it.

The trouble is that although I have successfully created an ImmiAccount, When I am using my TRN and other details to import my application it is not being able to locate my application. I have tried numerous times, even changing my TRN to lower cases and double checking my details but in vain.

Can someone tell me if there is a known issue with ImmiAccounts for subclass 189 visas? Do you think it will affect my application adversely or should I wait for the CO and expect that they will ask me to send my docs via email?

Thanks

Hi Zaidia,

There's been a lot of reports of the same issue. I would suggest reporting it to the DIBP and continuing to try and import the application. Hopefully they'll work it out soon.

All the best,
