Online Applications

Has anybody here submitted an online application for partner spousal sponsorship. I have finished the 47SP but have not submitted yet because I was under the impression the 40SP and supporting documents need to be sent at the same time. However when we try to start the 40SP it won't allow us to because it says it can't verify details in the other application. I have looked through to find out exactly how this works but don't see any instructions. It won't allow attachments either. If anybody can provide some insight that would be great.

Done the online application.
Submitted 11/12/2013.
Basically you need to submit and pay for the application before you can complete the sponsor form. Once you've paid, you can attach everything you need to. You'll get an immediate acknowledgement letter via email too.

Thank you. I ended up doing the paper application. I just don't feel comfortable with it.

My advice is to get professional advice from a trusted agency like Visa Pacific, then you won't have any problems, they take care of everything and give you the correct advice... worth the money... Visa Pacific do a search.

Please look at the Department's instructions on this: https://www.immi.gov.au/Services/Pag...lications.aspx

"You will need to ensure that the 47SP form- Application for migration to Australia by a partner is submitted online before your sponsor can submit their 40SP form – Sponsorship for a partner to migrate to Australia. The sponsor will need your Transaction Reference Number in order to complete their sponsorship form."

Or, as the others say, find a MARA agent. You may email me at [email protected]

In all honesty, the paper application was easy to follow and I was less anxious. There was no need for me to hire a consultant to do it. The marriage is genuine and ongoing and the evidence is overwhelming so, no need to spend more money than necessary. I sent my application out on December 30 and received a response from the CO on January 7. I was asked to get the Medical and Police Check immediately and now I am just waiting for the approval email. I couldn't imagine anything else and hope to hear something positive soon. Good luck to everyone.

That was true. As long as you can follow the guidelines and read and understand what is meant.. you save not only money but time.. plus it gave you experience too..
