PMV support statements

Hi this is my first post here. I am attempting to complete all documents applicable to form SP 40. It has taken me a while to understand all the requirements needed. Apparently I have to get two support statements concerning myself & my fiance. On the immigration website it says to use form 888 for this purpose. However, this form is not set up for PMV's but for spouse & de facto partner visas instead. Can anyone give me some ideas on what course to follow here?? Thanks. Keith

Form 888 is OK also for pmv; you're applicant and your fiance is your partner.

Good luck!

Yes the 888 is the correct form for the PMV as well. We used them for both our fiance visa and spouse visa applications. The AUS citizens who fill them out for you will also have to provide certified proof of identity.

You'll find by the time the PR application comes up, DIAC has dispensed with the 888s...probably with the view that anyone who makes it through the dreadful miasma of paperwork torture to get to that point must be genuine!
