graduate visa

I have just found this on immi.website
this mean that everybody have a a student visa could be apply for graduate visa?????
Further, it is intended the new list of occupations would not apply to international students who, on
8 February 2010 held:

a subclass 572 (vocational education and training sector) visa;

a subclass 573 (higher education sector) visa; or

a subclass 574 (postgraduate research sector) visa.
when they apply for a subclass 485 (skilled graduate) visa before 31 December 2012.
This would enable these students to remain in Australia for 18 months on the temporary skilled graduate visa after the completion of their studies to gain valuable work experience and the opportunity to secure an employer or state/territory government to sponsor them.
Subject to the approval of the Governor-General in Council, the government intends to establish these very generous transitional arrangements to allow most overseas students affected by this change time to remain in Australia temporarily while considering their options. If they cannot meet the requirements for a further visa to allow them to stay in Australia, they would be expected to leave Australia.

There have been transitional arrangements made but there will as always be eligibility requirements to be met and then there will be the priorities for processing you need to make yourself familiar with.
Have a look at the What's New Information via link on the Immi site skilled visas pages.

Kasey,The 485 has eligibility requirements and also information there about what you can do with a 485.
If you want to leave Australia and apply for a PR visa from abroad, you'll always be free to do that, again eligibility requirements applying.
Next time, seeing as you have started a thread, why not use that instead of jumping on someone elses.

Hi,
I am currently applying for Recognised Graduate visa (subclass 476). I am using the online application scheme. However, when I reached the 100% of the process, I need to enter my credit card number and click 'Submit Application.' There was no step prior to that where I need to attach any required documents, just plain answering of queries like info on other migrating members of the family, educational qualifications attained, passport details, IELTS Test reference number etc. (like those info that can be found on Form 1276). My question is, should I click the 'Submit Application' which means I am already paying for it even if I didn't attach any doc? Will the next steps include the document attachment I am expecting?
I am running out of time since I need to lodge the visa before April 2011 (when the 2 year period after my graduation date-April 2009- would end).
Thanks so much!
Hope to hear from you soon.

I am not !00% on the process but I think other online applicants have said something about the uploading of documents follows you making the application.
Do a search re online application uploading and see if a couple of threads come up.
If still stuck, send an email query to Inni, provision being under Contact/Visa Enquiries.
