New SOL list & changing your ASCO

Hi there,
I wonder whether anyone can give me some advice. I applied for a 175 GSM as a primary school teacher in December 09. This has been taken off the new SOL, ( and I realise that technically my application is not affected as it has already been lodged), however there is a new listing/ASCO of Early childhood, (Pre-primary) Teacher. I also qualify for this and wondered: a) how easy is it to change your ASCO on your lodged application? and b) any opinions about whether it would speed up the processing of my application ?
I have lodged a query e-mail with Adelaide, but imagine it will be a while before I receive an answer! I would appreciate any responses

Unfortunately, I'd expect the answer that may come back for you is that to change the occupation of an application will mean a new application is required.
Putting in another application would likely only see a great change in processing time if the Ec Teacher is going to be on a State Migration Plan and you were prepared to go a particular state.
Without that occurring you would be down the priority list somewhat.

If there are states with Primary Teaching on their sponsorship list, it would put you slightly further along the priority list to seek sponsorship but as per indicative time frames announced re lower priority applications when the CSL was published on 23Sept.09, it could be several years or more that you could be waiting for before your application is considered
