I wonder how much more a person can take.my husband and I had the MRT hearing last month 5 weeks ago.we handed in all our evidence (emails.letters, photos proof of calls between us.had letters of support from family and friends and even had family and friends there at the hearing in sydney.By the way the evedence is not years not months,My own health is at risk my diabetis is in a dangerous place with the suga rlevels between 15-24.Do they care? we recieved a letter today requesting a second hearing stating the decission cant be made on this evidence alone. That is to be the 30th june.I wonder if this has to do with the end of the financial year.I dont know what to think anymore it all seems too much.

It does seem you're on a rocky road trissher but at least you've not had an outright rejection!
Did you get hold of MRT submission guides or anything that says what to provide in way of evidence and short of that I would err on the side of giving them everything you have had to supply in an application and use the application Checklist as a guide.

For instance you do not mention the marriage certificate above and then having your relationship clearly documented by dates/events, time you have lived together etc. definitely highlighted, along with other times on visits etc.

thanks for replying wanderer.yes we submitted everything I think the problem lies with our lawyer/migrant agent.when the spouse visa was submitted with all documents/certificates ect as you mentioned,I gave all the corresponsdence photos.documented phone calls ect.only a about 10 emails were submitted and 4 photos.when I asked why this was so I was told that should be enough. The money payed out then was more than we were quoted. The end result no visa. Then came the application for the MRT finally after a long wait the hearing came.I made sure everything was given this time. They have the marraige certificate/copy all of the nessasary documents I have the originals.evrything we gave is clearly documented perhaps it is because the bulk of the evidence was submitted at the first hearing and now that needs to be verified I really dont know.its the only thing I can think of wanderer.

We have had a few posts from time to time trishher expressing dissatisfaction with agents and that usually when it is agents outside of Australia and whether it be language or just unfamiliarity with the Australian immigration process and not really appreciating what is required, I suppose any of that could result in not the best application being put forward.

When I see you write

That to me is saying the evidence provided has something lacking and that's why I ask if they actually gave anymore detail.

You may have read of other threads where people have been successful with DIY applications and so perhaps a recheck of the detail required for applications is in order and then reviewing how it is presented.
the sticky on elkitten's experience has an outline of how and what she developed and I remember at the time she was preparing her application, another poster had been advised by a CO re her application lacking sufficient evidence and she knuckled down to the same approach as elkitten had taken re itemising and presentation and she had the visa granted in a months time.

I'd suggest sitting down with what you have already and reviewing it against the Immi Checklist and Booklet #1 is where I would start and see if elkitten likewise has any suggestions that may help.
