new SOL confirm???

Hi
I was just wondering if the new SOL list is now confirm. I am a final year BBA student of HOSPITALITY from Mq. and prior to the new SOL my PR pathway was fairly simple. Now im not sure about anything. Its very distressing.
Could anyone please suggest a suitable pathway. moreover how can we voice our concerns about these changes? I dont think its fair for international students who applied prior to the new laws to be inflicted by them.It should be applicable to students who will be applying AFTER the changed laws.
I would highly appreciate your support.

Thank You

I posted the following on the New SOL questions thread for you.
Quote:
If you read some of the information posted and links, you'll see that there are some transitional arrangements.

Unfortunately, it would seem that many international students have some how or other believed that studying in Australia guaranteed being able to apply for PR, that approach being pushed by dodgy education agents in overseas countries that the Australian government had no control over.

Because there were " easy " pathways identified and promoted, both international education in Australia and immigration were being distorted into a scandoulous corrupted mode and even bonafide students and potential immigrants with highly valued skills were being affected.

One thing that has always been very clear in Immigration policy is that whilst pathways from education to immigration may at times exist, the two are very different processes with very different reasons and any decision on attempting to take education solely for the purpose of immigration is somewhat unwise.

Students with concerns over being duped by agents in their home countries need to address their country's government and have so called agents held accountable for their promotions.

But this thread is to be merely about the new SOL and not for expressing your concern so I'll delete the offtopic references in a couple of days once you have had a chance to read the response.
There are other what could be called more militant forums with agitated discussion and so you could look for those to voice your concerns.
Please do not double post.

Post and my post on the other thread now deleted.
