Hi Everyone,

I am new to this forum and I seek help for my queries below;

I have applied for an 175 subclass visa (Mec Eng), lodged application on 28 Dec 09. Received a mail from CO requesting for Medical and Police Checks on 3rd March 2010 for both me and my wife. And sumitted all the documents on by end of March. The timeframe given by the CO to submit all the documents was 70 days from 3rd Mar 2010 and hence we submitted the same before that.

Now my queries are;

1. Only health check status shows as Finalised whereas my wife's health check status shows only as received thought we submitted togother. Will there by any problem for my wife to get her PR?

2. When can we expect our PR?

I kindly request to answer my queries asap..

This seems like a query for a thread that you ought to open in the Visas & Immigration section if you haven't done so.

The thread opened is not even so much a topic for the Introductory section and as such, once you've done a cut and paste if need be to re post, I'll move the thread.

Hi minas_f. This is something unrelated to your posted thread. As I found difficulties sending a reply to your private message. I do not know what the problem is. Anyway, As what you have said, maybe the states are running to make an immigration structure to nominate and sponsor new immigrants to their specific state and they too are still putting a system. But the problem is how long are we going to wait for it?

I even applied for a State sponsorship in South Australia last 20 April 2010. But upon the announcement made by DIAC last May 7, South Australia has made a decision to suspend the processing of all offshore applicants who have not lodged their Visa application with DIAC before 8 May 2010. The status/ decision of my application will be announced in due course.
It is really uncertain now if I can successfully get a sponsorship from SA. I believe that pharmacists not included from the new SOL will greatly affect their decision in the future. The only real hope is to be included in the State Migration Plan.

Yes, it is a bit unrelated and once you have at least five posts up you get other access like PMs.
And yes the states need to consider what type of list structures thay have with SMPs and sponsorship.
And that connected to their reasoning no doubt for suspending sponsorship processing.
There's a sticky thread titled SOL questions in the Visas & Immigration section where I'll move this to for now and close the thread so as we do not get duplicate general threads running.
