Wife tourist visa refused twice while I am bridging Visa after applying 885

Hi,

Currently I am awaiting decision on my Subclass 885 visa application which I applied 1st Sept 2008. As currently on bridging visa and I got married on 1st Dec 2009. The only option to bring my wife where is on tourist 676 visa and other option is to wait until I get my PR approved and get my wife on spouse visa but I don't how long it will take to get my PR approved.

But Its been refused twice as we did not able to prove the department of immigration in India about intention of the visit is valid.

Is there any way for my here onshore to prove the intention of my wife's visit to Australia on tourist visa or can I appeal my case here by any means?

Regards
Psharma

I do not know whether you can appeal tourist visa rejections and would expect not.

Unfortunately your wife probably falls into a target grouping that is developed by Immi profiling based on history of known visa overstaying situations whilst that is no reflection on your wife's intent.

You may wish to enquire of Immi whether there is any possibility of lodging a security bond to have a visa granted.

Please update your flag here .

My brother also lodged his PR (886 subclass) in March 2010 and currently on bridging visa. He got married in Jan 2011 and applied for his wife on tourist visa which got refused of same reason as above.
I myself am Australian citizen and staying with my husband and one daughter. Are there chances of approval if I sponsor my sis in law to invite her on visitor visa.
Please assist
