If there will be the occupations on SOL and you have the qualifications that will give you an assessment with either you can always apply, it being ACS you may be thinking of for the latter and some relevant experience also required.

Even if you did manage to get two assessments, you can only use one on a visa application, but hey, you got the money to splash about, why not put in two visa applications!

I dont have money to splash about ...

Actually my assessor from Engineers Australia told me that I have option to get Assessment as Radio Engineer. Its a specilization of Electronics Engineers as per old SOL ....
But it is not listed as the specialization of Electronics Engineering in the new SOL ... (Big Problem!!!)

Now if after July 1, I cannot use Radio Engineer Assessment from Engineers Australia for visa application, I will have to apply for assessment as Telecommunication Engineer (which is only present in new SOL under the category of ICT). And as far as I know, Engineers Australia will not be the one to assess Telecommunication Engineering if it is listed under ICT Cateogory.

Now I want to know that if i tell my assessor to go ahead and give me Radio Engineer Assessment, I may have to apply to ACS for assessment again as Telecommunication Engineer .... and thats why I asked the question ...

If you're looking at an offshore application, the old SOL is effectively dead for 175/176 applications have been suspended and I'd not think it is likely that the suspension will be lifted until the new SOL is implemented.
So if that is the case, I'd suggest it is best not to dwell on the old SOL.
