Smile pmv 300 to 820 application

Hi All
my turn to ask for help as we are getting closer to our wedding on March 15 im starting to want to get everything prepared and do my research on what i need to lodge for the next visa.
Im sure there is a sticky or a thread on here somewhere but buggared if i can find it lol.
Can someone please copy a link for m e to a sticky or thread that will list specifically what we have to lodge, or what they lodged when they applied for their 820 (after receiving the pmv 300) please?
I found a couple of threads by Medoes but they seem to be for a straight forward 820 - at least i hope so as there is a heap of stuff listed there to lodge that of course i already lodged on the 300.

Thanks heaps!

I think you still need to provide some of those evidences that you have already provided when you apply for PMV.

Thanks Bonez - i did see that one (and printed it out) but the list was so long i thought i was surely mistaken and it had to be for a straight forward 820 (without a pmv first)...OMG if thats correct - i thought we were over the hard part but seems we have to pretty well provide everything again? I wonder if i can just basically print out everything from the CD that was returned to me after our visa issued and lodge that, plus the updated evidence (all the usual stuff, marriage certificate, joint bank accounts, joint bills, joint memberships of clubs etc).

how much of what we lodged first time around do you think we should lodge again ?(bearing in mind this was our 2nd pmv after a refusal and i lodged a massive 7.5 kgs, 700 pages of evidence and over 1000 photos second time around! didnt take any chances on this one definately went with t he overkill method).

I found the 820 much easier than the 300 because you can re-use some of the same evidence. It looks overwhelming at first but you should find it much easier to gather the evidence they ask for because you should already have a fair bit of it from last time.

And yeah, it's only new stuff that you need (wedding photos, marriage cert, joint bank account statements etc)

I would definitely not lodge 1000 photos!! I reckon no more than 50 photos.

Do you have everything on your computer that you lodged last time? That should make it easier.

Btw ... where are you getting married?

lol Mish - that would be funny - not (if i bombarded them with 1000 photos). As he's already here now, im not anctipated (fingers crossed!) them to give me any grief this time around, so im just going to lodge whats 'normal' - just want to make sure i dont miss anything out! We are getting married 15th March. Its so daunting, not only trying to organise a wedding on a budget (as we are broke after spending 50K in the last 18months with everything we had to do to get him here) but to do all this immigration stuff all over again at the same time. Silly me was thinking oh its just the usual forms, plus 2 stat decs plus evidence of all the stuff we have gathered since he arrived here, but of course its much more than that (apparently)...sigh......guess honeymoon week will be spent doing immi stuff lol

I know the feeling. We are going to do ours on a budget too. I would love to get married at Mt Cootha but that would be expensive.

We scanned all our stuff and of course have been emailing the case officer regularly so should not be much of an issue.

I would just give them a snapshot over the past and then more of what has happened since lodged and he got here plus marriage stuff.

March is meant to be a lucky month.

Oh btw ... I tried to PM you the other night for your opinion but your inbox is full.

lol Mish - yes i just emptied it - apparently can only empty it when on computer (normally use ipad) so its totally empty now. I didnt realise you were in Brissie (doh!) also. Do you want to add me on facebook? If so Send me a message with your facebook name so i can add you (you probably cant add me as my privacy settings are so high nobody can ever find me lol)
Hey i just created an immi account so i could have a look at the online application, do you know if you go through and start filling it in, does it take that as you have started the application i.e. can i go through now and fill in stuff but not actually lodge it of course until after i get the wedding certificate?
