Unhappy

I have completed master of IT which is 1.5yr in December,09 from Monash univ. As i planned to apply for PR, i presently enrolled into grad dip course from other univ to meet the criteria of 2 yrs study. I had to extend my student visa in march,10 as i was previously granted for 1.5yr course. It got extended until aug 30,2010.

My questions are:

I plan to apply for sponsership PR after my present course completion i.e in july..but i need to get my course assessed from ACS. Do I need to get both courses assessed from ACS for lodging PR... or can i get my Masters degree assessed and use present course just for proof of 2 yrs study?

Is it true that i have to include my completed skills assessment when applying PR or can i use Referal number from ACS to apply PR.

As Skills assessment takes 3 months and i finish my course in july...which is impossible for me to get skills assessed before my visa expires (30th,aug,10)..and i dont want to end up applying TR....

Any help is appreciated..

First off, fabricating study around an intent for PR immigration is not such a grand plan and the two are very separate.
But if it is your choice to attempt that you should have a close look at the two year study requirement to make sure whatever study you do will be compliant with requirements.

But that is just one requirement and a qualifications assessment is another, a very basic requirement and read the Immi visa info for it's all there.
Take shortcuts and it could be a ticket to refusal and loss of fees.

You can call it something else if you like but if it's got a beak, feathers, ducks feet and quacks like a duck, it is likely a duck.

To get ACS assessment is one thing and you need to consider what occupational classification you may be best aligned with and ACS will do their assessment based on your qualifications [ be it one, two or more ] and employment experience.

You perhaps may want to read the Immi info more thoroughly on minimal application requirements.
Skilled – Sponsored (Residence) visa (subclass 886) if it is the 886 you mean by sponsorship.
