Unhappy Temporary Graduate Visa 485 - Health Cover Help!

Hi everyone I'm new to this forum - don't know where else to go for help...

Few months ago I applied for the TR 485 visa and shortly after I was invited to apply for PR (189 visa). So right now I have provided all necessary documents for both applications.

I just got an email from my TR 485 case officer stating that there is a gap where I wasn't covered by health insurance and I need to provide evidence that I was indeed covered by next week which they will then make a decision. The thing is my student cover OSHC expired when my student visa expired on 1 Sep 2013. And I lodged the 485 application on 23 Aug 2013. I only bought visitors cover on 19 Sep 2013. So there's a gap between 1 Sep - 19 Sep... It's my mistake and I want to fix it but I don't think insurance companies backdate etc so I really don't know what else to do.

I joined this forum to find out if anyone was/is in a similar situation as mine and could possibly provide some advice. I need to submit evidence before end of next week. I could withdraw the TR application and just focus on PR if this health cover issue results in a negative outcome that might affect my PR application. But there's no guarantee I can get PR and I've spent so much money on both visas...

Please help! Any advice would be greatly appreciated...

Any Updates? I am having same issue like you.
Please respond if you found any solution.
Directly go for 189 or other?
Thanks.
