Bridging visa C Study Rights

Hi everyone,

I am going to apply for Protection visa subclass 866. And since my previous visa was expired, I ll get a bridging visa C while waiting for the decision.

I know they have a working rights restriction for bridging visa C and since I don't plan to work during the waiting period, it doesn't affect me much. But I have been study for 2 years and have only one semester left to finish my degree so I wish to finish it while waiting for my visa decision.

But I looked all over DIAC's website and didn't find any information regarding study rights.

So, could anyone tell me whether I can study with a bridging visa C or not? And if the visa doesn't come with study rights, can I apply for an exemption?

Thanks in advance,
